Acceptance of Terms

By using cttaste.com’s services, including our website, mobile app, or WhatsApp communication for ordering food or interacting with vendors, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Use of Our Services

You agree to use our services, including WhatsApp for customer support and order management, only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content without consent.
  • Engage in illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
  • Transmit content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on others’ rights.
  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of our services.

Service Fees

cttaste.com charges the following fees for its services:

  • Order Fee: A fee of ₦100 is charged per order placed through our platform, applicable to all customers.
  • Vendor Approval Fee: Vendors located at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are required to pay a one-time approval fee of ₦5,000 to join the platform. Vendors in all other locations are not charged an approval fee.
  • Promotional Fee: A fee of ₦5,000 is charged as a promotional fee for only interested vendors valid for a duration of two(2) weeks.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify these fees at any time, with notice provided through our website or WhatsApp service.

Orders and Vendor Interactions

cttaste.com facilitates food orders between customers and registered vendors. We are not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or availability of food provided by vendors.
  • Disputes between customers and vendors regarding orders.
  • Delays or errors caused by vendors or third-party services.

Any issues with orders should be reported to us at support@cttaste.com for assistance.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services, including WhatsApp communication, at our discretion, including for:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Abuse of the services.
  • Non-payment of applicable fees.
  • Legal or regulatory requirements.

Limitation of Liability

cttaste.com provides its services “as is.” We are not liable for:

  • Any damages arising from your use of the services.
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or inaccuracies in order processing.
  • Actions or omissions by vendors or third parties, including Meta’s WhatsApp service.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the services, if any.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold cttaste.com harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the services or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available at this URL.
